Did you ever wonder how your body would recover after you quit smoking? When would certain damages start to repair and when would certain risks like the risk of heart disease start declining?
I stumbled upon this very informative website called Quit Smoking Timeline which explains all the elements of the recovery on a timeline along with the savings you will pocket in your wallet.
It is actually very encouraging to current smokers because many of the damaged organs can recover and many of the higher risk due to smoking can drop back to normal.
If you are a smoker then really think about it. And if your loved one is a smoker tell them about all the benefits and how much you would appreciate him or her quitting (but don’t force them as it may have the opposite effect).

Health, Weight Loss
Try to exercise 2-3 times a week. It distracts you from eating and after exercising you will be less hungry.
Do not forget to keep you diet balanced despite reduced-calories. Balanced means, that your diet consists of vitamin-rich fruits, vegetables, dairy products and other fiber-rich foods. Stay away from “dead” calories without nutritional value.
Try to eat as little or nothing at night. You will see how well you feel the next morning. Your stomach will feel flatter and you will be ready for a hearty breakfast.
Be aware of drinks with calories. Stay away from all non-diet sodas. Drink water – preferably 12-15 cups per day. Water also reduces your appetite and flushes out the toxins from your body.
Stop taking elevators and escalators! Just take the stairs!

Do you know how many calories there are in a teaspoon of sugar? A heaped teaspoon of sugar contains about 25 calories!!! So when you add 2 heaped teaspoons of sugar to your tea or coffee you also add 50 calories!!! What a waste of calories! You really need to look into low calorie or no calorie options!

Sweeten your life and add a little bit of fiber to your diet. Each packet has the same sweet taste without calories plus 1 gram of healthy fiber. If you are using sweatener anyway why not get additional fiber.
